Rebootstrap
This is a Bootstrap Service, offered by the Bootstrap Network to large companies.
Description
As companies evolve through the stages of Ideation, Valley of Death, Growth, they move into a sustained period where optimization and improvement of the discoveries from the first VoD occur. Indeed, this is the domain of classic business initiatives. There comes a time, however, when large companies need to rebootstrap themselves, i.e. tap into bootstrapping as an innovation process to develop entirely new products and services. These organizations have bootstrapping in their DNA and it is a matter of bringing it to the surface and systematizing it.
To aid organizations in this process, the Bootstrap Network has designed a comprehensive Rebootstrap Initiative which:
- Creates and supports an internal community of bootstrappers (similar to Bootstrap Austin)
- Teaches bootstrapping principles via a customized Bootstrap Bootcamp, incorporating the founders' story.
- Shepherds small bootstrap teams through Ideation, VoD and Growth
- Supports the initiative using unique web-based tools
Every Rebootstrap Initiative is also bootstrapped: it starts slowly and carefully, meeting the organization where it is and is co-developed with our customer. Often, an organization will have existing innovation programs underway. In these situations specific bootstrap-oriented interventions can make these programs more effective.
