As companies evolve through the stages of Ideation, Valley of Death and Growth, they move into a sustained period where optimization and improvement of the discoveries from the first VoD occur. Indeed, this is the domain of classic business initiatives. There comes a time, however, when large companies need to rebootstrap themselves, i.e. tap into bootstrapping as an innovation process to develop entirely new products and services. These organizations have bootstrapping in their DNA and it is a matter of reminding them, bringing bootstrapping to the surface and systematizing it.
To aid organizations in this process, the Bootstrap Network has designed a comprehensive Rebootstrap Initiative which:
- Creates and supports an internal community and network of bootstrappers (similar to Bootstrap Austin)
- Teaches bootstrapping principles via a customized Bootstrap Bootcamp, incorporating the founders' story.
- Shepherds small bootstrap teams through Ideation, VoD and Growth
- Supports the initiative using unique web-based tools to bring
