The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) was founded by Indian entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley to foster entrepreneurship among people from the Indian subcontinent. While they're expanding beyond this, their membership and leadership is still quite Indian-dominated. They are also still very VC-oriented in their approach to entrepreneurship, which is reflected in their programming.
