Description
TiE (originally The Indus Entrepreneurs) was founded in Silicon Valley by a number of Indian entrepreneurs. It has since expanded globally with chapters in many cities including Austin. Recently TiE changed added "Talent Ideas and Enterprise" as a description of its acronym reflecting a desire to go beyond a focus on the Indian subcontinent. Due to its Silicon Valley roots, TiE is generally heavily focused on VC-funding and not on bootstrapping. However, it's a great place to meet fellow entrepreneurs.
