The key action in the Ideation stage of a Bootstrap venture.
The Demo is the key output of the Ideation stage of a Bootstrap venture. It is an instantiation of the product or service. A demo is often not a working, or fully working product. Rather, it serves as a conversation starter with potential customers to discover what they really need. Many times, the product or service that customers buy is radically different from the demo that started the conversation. Without a demo, however, it is very hard to even begin it.
